What does being in a relationship mean to you?

Well, any relationship I guess would mean two people putting time and effort into each other because they feel like it’s worth it. As for a dating relationship, I feel like it’s a little deeper than that. You find someone you feel compatible with, and you enjoy spending time with them. Then, you go into a relationship to see if they fit two important categories: if they are someone you can learn from, and if they are someone you can learn with (and grow with) as children of God. If they fit both categories, I feel like the relationship is just a test before the prize. A test to see if they do. And then if they do, the prize would be like a marriage, or spending the rest of your life together…I hope that makes sense.  

What should people seek when they seek for happiness?

Look for things they enjoy, and people they enjoy being with!

What are your tips on dating?

1) For girls: Your body is a temple. Know your own self worth. You’re worth more than what you think you are.

2) Treat yourself as an equal. Never think yourself as any less than someone. Thoughts like, “He/She’s too good for me” or “He could do better” are poisonous to a relationship.

3) Have trust. Even if you can’t help but to be insecure, anxious, or doubtful, remind yourself that your partner trusts you, and he/she deserves to receive the same.

4) Respect. Always respect his/her opinion even if it does not always agree with your own.

5) Communicate. Most big fights and problems happen because people lack communication. Therefore, a lot of misunderstandings end up arising. While the problem is small, solve it. Don’t let things build up over time.

What makes you happy?

Other people’s happiness! Of course, my own happiness makes me happy, but somehow seeing someone else near me really happy makes me even more happier. I like it when people around me laugh and smile.
